Hi, I'm Zwe Khant Lwin — a Junior Cloud Engineer and Business Information Technology (BIT) student at Haaga-Helia University of Applied Sciences in Helsinki, graduating in 2026.
I'm originally from Myanmar and currently based in Vantaa, Finland. I speak Burmese (mother tongue), English (fluent), and Finnish (basic — working on it).
What I do
My focus is cloud infrastructure and DevOps. I enjoy designing and deploying AWS environments using Infrastructure as Code, automating repetitive tasks with Bash and PowerShell, and thinking carefully about network security and system architecture.
I've worked with AWS services including VPC, EC2, S3, IAM, CloudFormation, CloudWatch, and Secrets Manager. I have CCNA-level networking knowledge covering TCP/IP, VLANs, subnetting, firewalls, VPN, and DNS. On the systems side I'm comfortable with Linux (Ubuntu) and Windows Server, and tooling like the AWS CLI and VMware.
Projects
My main academic project was leading the deployment of a full-scale Moodle LMS on AWS using Infrastructure as Code principles. I designed the multi-tier VPC architecture, wrote 10+ CloudFormation templates to automate the entire deployment, and implemented CloudWatch monitoring for operational visibility.
I also led the development of Joo-marketti, a responsive e-commerce platform built with PHP and WordPress, including DNS configuration and SSL deployment for end-to-end HTTPS.
Work experience
Alongside my studies I've worked as a Christmas Mail Sorter at Posti in Helsinki (seasonal, 2023–2025) — sorting incoming mail accurately and meeting daily quotas. It taught me a lot about working efficiently under pressure.
Get in touch
I'm looking for opportunities in cloud engineering, DevOps, or infrastructure roles — internships or junior positions. If you're building something interesting, I'd love to hear about it.
